Threats of closure and fewer services continue plaguing rural hospitals

You might have caught on in previous news as rural hospitals across the state face tough decisions and weigh closing facilities. Others are looking at services where margins are narrow or negative and opting to trim them back to remain open.

Another hospital closed its doors this week in Trinity, Texas.

Still, in communities across the state, local business leaders and citizens are joining together to ensure their facilities remain open to support growth and industry in their respective markets.
