Your Guide to Voting in Calhoun County

When is election day?

Election Day is May 3, 2025. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. As long as you are in line at the time polls close, you will be allowed to cast your ballot. 

Where do I vote on election day?

 

Calhoun County has multiple precincts and polling places. If you’re early voting, all locations below are not available. The exact polling location you use is based on the precinct in which you are registered. Here is a list of polling locations, or you can use the following:

What about early voting?

If you prefer to vote before Election Day, early voting is available weekdays from April 22 to April 29. During early voting, you can cast your ballot in person at:

211 S. Ann, Port Lavaca 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voting by mail:

If you meet the eligibility requirements to vote by mail (for instance, if you are age 65 or older, have a disability, or will be out of the county during both the early voting period and on Election Day), you can apply for a mail-in ballot by April 10.
